Acceptance

Who never wants to belong somewhere, coz when we feel like all hope is gone, we need someone who cares

Fear of being alone can bring discomfort, gripping the heart with much effort

Sleepless nights’ come along, as thoughts of being departed consume your mind

Our souls stay under siege of deep songs, trending in many bands and solos

Its the only time when not only headaches can be annoying, but also heartaches can be draining

Your circle of friends creates some feeling, but you wonder if it can be defined

What really binds people?, can be the question, hinting strongly unconfined

And certainly comes perception, for what we see is never necessarily what dictates the occasion

Perhaps unexpected love is the gap between two people, to who it never occurred that their fairy tale would last as a symbol

Wander far not, for what completes you, is right beside you
Fear not, for the person that encourages you is right there too

Instincts built on hope, bear fruit of uncultivated feelings,
Step up and be ready to gallop, to healthy relationships ascertained by great things

If you have been trying hard to make human beings take you in, why not try something new

Learn to let them go, if they come back, they certainly belong to you.

Stateless Mind

Clear minds speak of truth, but clear hearts embrace love
For the ones we adore, it can never be enough
Awesome people last forever, yet forever is the time between hello and goodbye
Faded memories can be rekindled, sometimes by a drive-by
Oblivious thoughts engulf us, as speculations haunt harmless individuals
Bought trust never equals that earned, beware of unjustified proposals
Awakened feelings torment the heart, soaring flames of either hatred or burning love
‘Loyal friends’ come your way, yet how many write your wrongs on the sand?,
To be washed away by the wave of the sea, wiping away that written by the hand
By satisfaction of what we have comes true happiness, But many are the times our desires outgrow our prudence
Life presents limitless choices, yet only one makes a decision
At times of troublesome trials, there comes great confusion
Only the stronger concede perseverance,
And the strongest emerge victorious,
Sometimes the light at the end of a tunnel can be that of an oncoming train,
We therefore must be ready for anything,
Listen to the still and gentle voice inside you, as you meditate upon life teachings
‘Ignore not words’, my friend Jorum professes
True words they are, and I must confess
Having a concious of your own, is a pillar,
You ought to have, not as a master, but a teacher.

Undying Love

You walked away too soon,
Now my nights are spent with the moon,
I know I should have made you stay,
Yet I wasn’t selfish and gave you away,
Coming to think of my decision,
For sure, I was drowned in confusion,
My seedless mind was clear,
But my heart was for the idea,
That you were good for me,
And life with you would not be stormy,
You are gone now,
All I’m left with is memories,
And to others, they are just stories,
Ever since we fell apart,
I still haven’t found the pieces of my heart,
Maybe coz I believe you still own them,
As souvenirs for our extinguished flame,
Which no longer burns with roars,
As it did when there was still ‘US’,
Emptiness in my soul is now filled by Jesus,
Yet that in my heart is still mysterious,
Ignoring you is what am doing wrong,
So instead of writing you a song,
That says what’s taking me too long,
I wish to face you like two-prongs,
For the undying fear I had,
Grew everyday to drive me sad,
Writing this too is time consuming,
Knowing I should be on my way coming,
To say that we can do it all over again,
Only that this time, I won’t inflict on you pain,
After penning down, I’m taking the next train,
Not coz I’m insane,
But because I’m using my brain.
